Comprehensive Psychiatric Evaluation
All new patients will undergo an initial evaluation (intake) to formulate a comprehensive, individualized treatment plan. During this first appointment, we will explore your reasons for seeking treatment and discuss your psychiatric and medical history background. We will assess your health, including medications, diet and digestion, exercise, substance use, family history and relationships, occupation, and spiritual beliefs. In addition, we will review any lab tests including blood work that you may have done. When appropriate, we may also consult with other clinicians on your treatment team. Based on our thorough evaluation, we will provide you with feedback and will collaborate with you to formulate an individually tailored treatment plan to address the biological, psychological, and social aspects of your health.
